Why Physical Therapy With Embark?

Choosing Embark means working with a clinician who is focused entirely on your goals instead of a caseload. My hybrid model blends hands-on in-person sessions with remote programming, so you get consistent, personalized support whether we're together in the clinic or you're at home.

Every session is one on one with me, from start to finish. I track your progress with real data using tools like the Tindeq Progressor and My Jump Lab, and I guide you through three phases: Restore, Rebuild, and Re-envision. That takes you from pain relief all the way to hitting goals you didn't think were possible.

If you want physical therapy that fits your life and actually gets you back to what you love, this is it.

What is our Treatment Philosophy?

1) Restore

This first phase is all about getting you back to feeling like yourself.

Move Better: We work on restoring comfortable, natural movement.

Manage Pain: The goal is to get your pain to a manageable level so it’s no longer holding you back.

Rebuild Basic Function: Think pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, lunging, carrying—getting these movements back is key.

This stage is like hitting reset. We’re laying the groundwork so your body is ready for what’s next.

2) Rebuild

Once your movement and pain are under control, it’s time to level up.

Get Stronger & More Durable: We start building real strength and resilience so you can move with more power and confidence.

Create a Solid Base: You’ll develop the capacity to handle physical challenges again and again without breaking down.

This phase is about building a strong, reliable body that’s ready for whatever life—or training—throws at it.

3) Re-envision

Now we shift from recovery to performance.

Set Big Goals: What would you go after if you weren’t worried about pain or injury? Let’s go there.

Trust Your Body Again: This is where confidence takes over—you’re no longer just out of pain, you’re ready to push limits.

This is the fun part: redefining what you’re capable of and realizing your full potential.

Do I take insurance?

Nope, I don’t take insurance—and that’s actually on purpose.

There are two main reasons for this:

First, staying out-of-network lets me give you a way more personalized and thorough experience. In most insurance-based clinics, therapists have to juggle multiple patients at once and often get boxed into what the insurance will or won’t cover. I want to be able to give you the time, attention, and treatment you actually need to get all the way back to doing what you love—without cutting corners.

Second, being out-of-network gives me the flexibility to stay closely involved in your care through some level of remote programming. Making real progress and getting out of pain takes time—and honestly, the biggest changes happen in the hours and days between sessions. That’s where the real work lives. My model takes the guesswork off your plate and keeps your rehab on track every step of the way, even if we’re not meeting in person. Instead of the usual setup where you see someone a bunch early on and then only check in here and there, I’m with you from start to finish. A lot of my clients—especially busy folks—really appreciate that consistent support, because it keeps things moving forward every week and makes the whole rehab process feel way clearer.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, credit card, or debit card. We also accept health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible savings accounts (FSA).

In addition, we can provide you with an itemized receipt called a "superbill" for each session. This can be submitted to your insurance for an out-of-network reimbursement. To determine if you are eligible for this, please contact your insurance company.
